Krasnodar, August 23 – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region is going to submit the schedule of solution of the problems of cheated home owners to the federal Ministry of Construction, announced Governor Veniamin Kondratiev at a session of the Council at the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Southern Federal District. The participants of the meeting discussed the ways to help the shareholders of long-lasting construction projects.
According to deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Nikita Stasishin, about 160 ‘problematic’ tower blocks have been officially registered in the Southern Federal District, including around 60 in the Krasnodar region (mostly in the regional capital), with 821 shareholders affected by unfair constructors that have been registered with the regional Department for Supervision in Construction Sector. However, in fact the number of cheated shareholders in the region is much higher.
In his turn, Mr. Kondratiev said that over 1,500 unregistered shareholders may hope that the construction of their flats will finish soon – the authorities have managed to find three investors that would finance the completion of 12 long-lasting constructions.
