The governance of the Krasnodar approved implementation in the city of the project of light metro.

Here will be the special commission constituted for the project implementation. In this transport project they plan to study the route.

Last year at the end of December the social movement “Urban Resolutions” with the representatives of the company “Kuban Express-prigorod” presented the project “Nazemka” (Light Metro). They suppose to organize six lines for train running during the project implementation. Also, it is necessary to build and equip 38 stations. According to architects` plan, the light metro will help not only to suburban residents to get to the center of the city, but also to city dwellers. The local officials agreed o these conclusions.

The project was considered by the governance of the city and the Ministry of Transport, Transportation Planning and Environment. There was made the conclusion that the project “Nazemka” will help to decrease the number of the traffic jams and make the ecological situation better. The preparation to the project implementation will start quite soon.
