Over 250 tourist companies will reportedly take part in the annual international fair Anapa as the Brightest Sun of Russia, to be held in the seaside resort city of Anapa on February 8 till 10. The fair is considered the key event of the year that summons best representatives of the tourist industry from throughout Russia and abroad and is a major event in the tourist market of the Krasnodar region. The business agenda of the forum will consist of seminars, roundtables and conferences devoted to such issues as offseason attraction of tourists, the resort fee, the use of new information technologies to increase the room occupancy of the hotels and spas, and online sales. The list of the attendees includes regional Minister of Tourism and Olympic Heritage Khristofor Konstantinidi, chairman of the Legislative Assembly’s Committee of Resorts and Tourism Aleksandr Dzheus, and Vice President of the Russian Union of Tourist Industry Yuri Barzykin. A traditional international scientific practical medical conference will be held at the city’s prominent medical and spa complex DiLuch.
