ЮГ Times. On August 23, Krasnodar played host to the All-Russia Forum “Territory of Business – Territory of Life”.
The project is aimed at the improvement of business climate in Russian regions. According to the organizers, about 42,000 entrepreneurs, 3,000 municipal officers and over 100,000 online spectators have taken part in 45 regional and national forums held during the last five years.
Now the entrepreneurs, financial experts, bankers, journalists, public and municipal officers gathered in Krasnodar to discuss and resolve different issues of development of small and midsize businesses of the Southern Federal Distrct.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev expressed his gratitude to Opora Rossii public organization for choosing the Krasnodar region as the venue of the forum: he stressed that Kuban has what to show and share.
“It is small and midsize business that should become a key development idea for the region;s economy,” stressed Mr. Kondratiev. “It is important that the entrepreneurs should be able to sell their products at the domestic local market. Both business circles and authorities should move to meet each other halfway.”
In his speech, Vice Governor Sergei Altukhov stressed that currently there are about 300,000 entrepreneurs in the Krasnodar region, and the authorities must carry on a dialogue with each of them.
Winners Get Certificates
The National Prize “Business Success” was held in the framework of the forum “Territory of Business – Territory of Life”.
The panel of judges chose the most promising entrepreneurs of the Southern Federal District and the best municipal practical support of entrepreneurs.
At first, the nominees were presenting their business projects to the jury at a case conference.
Stanislav Kornienko from Sochi became the winner of the Best Youth Project nomination. He received a certificate for individual accompaniment from the business accelerator ‘System of Growth’.
Yuri Selianin (SOLAR Company, Krasnodar) was acknowledged the champion in the Best Project in Trade and Services nomination. He and Stanislav Kornienko were granted 100,000-ruble worth gift certificates for a GAZ car. Stanislav was also invited to take part in a seminar organized by Moscow Business School.
