ЮГ Times. Advancement of small and midsize business is a strategic priority and indispensable part of the Kuban region’s development. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar region is directly related to the issue of creation of a favourable business climate, says Aleksandr Tkachenko, Chairman of the regional Chamber.
“The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar region is a system of municipal chambers that actively represents interests of various business groups and categories before federal and regional authorities.
“The system consists of 32 rayon (district), interdistrict and city chambers and unites more than 5,000 private entrepreneurs and companies together with their economic, intellectual and production potential. Thus we come closer to business and promote favourable conditions for them.
“In the Kuban region, authorities and business cooperate in fostering integration: our Chamber jointly with the regional Administration, Legislative Assembly and federal supervisory bodies holds conferences, roundtables and business meetings, to let the entrepreneurs raise different questions and address requests and complaints. It is there that they may submit their proposals on amending the laws and enactments that govern their business activities.
“Information seminars are another popular activity, where highly qualified lecturers provide explanations and share their knowledge on actual legal, management, marketing and other issues.
“All these measures taken together motivate the development of business activities in the Kuban region.
“Our priority activities are support of Kuban producers, stimulation of small and midsize businesses, establishment of interregional and international relations, and attraction of Russian and foreign investors to the Kuban region.
“And our main task is to continue to support functioning of favourable environment for small and midsize businesses in the region, to attract national and international investors, and to promote diversification and overall development of the regional economy.”
