ЮГ Times. Adyghean tea-growers plan to pick 3 tons of tea-leaves this year. The only tea plantation in Adyghea is located in Tsvetochny town. Its area a little exceeds 6 hectares. Last year, the local tea-growers also plucked 3 tons of tea. The total area of tea plantations in Adyghea is 10 hectares, but the first yield may be gathered only eight years after tea was planted. With another 1.5 hectares becoming mature in two years’ time, Adyghean tea-growers plan to pick annually 5 tons of tea-leaves.
