Customers from Ex-Soviet Republics Buy Flats in Kuban

In January - June 2016, residents of ex-Soviet Republics reportedly spent RUR 5.3 billion to buy flats and houses in the Krasnodar region.

Their number has reportedly grown by 20% if compared with the same period of 2015. The number of inquiries and that of accomplished purchases also went up, states a research conducted by Etazhi-Krasnodar experts.

Foriegn buyers most often buy real estate at the seaside: in Anapa, Sochi, Gelendzhik, and in Krasnodar. Most of them come from Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

The Yug Times earlier reported that the total area of flats built in the region in January - May 2016, equaled to 1.7 million sqm, or 20.5% less than the figure for the same period of 2015.
