The winners of the F1 royal race to be held this week in Sochi will get really 'royal' prizes - this year the Cups will be enchased with Ural emeralds, announces Sochi Racetrack press service.
The announcement states that the precious stones were extracted and faceted especially for the kings of the racetrack.
The Cups enchased with Ural emeralds will become a symbol of Russia, her traditions and wealth, hospitality and generous soul, the organizers of the race were quoted as explaining.
The Cups will traditionally bear the image of Sochi Racetrack and the Tree of Friendship in the centre as a symbol of united wit and work of the professionals to reach the supreme goal.
The emerald-decorated Cups will be granted to the winners on May 1 after the final race.
