According to Russian media, Moody's Investors Service has affirmed the ratings with negative outlooks of the Krasnodar krai and the city of Krasnodar.

Concurrently, Moody's has affirmed the ratings with negative outlooks of the Samara oblast, Chuvashia Republic, Krasnoyarsk krai, Republic of Komi, Nizhny Novgorod oblast, city of Volgograd, city of Omsk and Belgorod oblast.
 
Moody's began to downgrade the Krasnodar region's ratings last year. Then the regional authorities claimed that that was "pure politics" and "nothing to do with the region's economic figures."
 
According to the regional authorities, currently there are hundreds of investment projects performed in the region, including those with foreign capital.
