The Federation Council has recently played host to the Days of the Republic of Adyghea.
The activity was attended by Head of Adyghea Aslan Tkhakushinov and Chairman of the State Council – Khase (Parliament) Vladimir Narozhny.
The Republican delegation also included Prime Minister Murat Kumpilov, regional ministers and MPs.
The Days of the Republic of Adyghea were inaugurated within the framework of the ‘Hour of a Russian region.’
The agenda included a number of extended sessions of the Federation Council’s committees, which discussed issues of socio-economic development of Adyghea.
Its main achievements were also displayed at the exhibition organized in the Federation Council.
Adyghea presented its main achievements, including the goods made in the framework of the import substitution program: Adyghean cheese, butter and apples.
On the whole, the Days of the Republic of Adyghea became a remarkable opportunity to directly approach Russian Senators, submit legal initiatives, discuss urgent issues and present Adyghea as a gracious and peace-loving region.
