It all began with a retrospective show of the attires of the 2nd half of the 20th century held on April 18 at Felitsyn Krasnodar State Historical and Archaeological Museum. The garments and accessories were presented by Goar Galstian, an arts critic, stylist and attire collector.
On April 20, the Premiera Music Theatre hosted a performance. Young couturiers and stylists demonstrated their vision of Leo Tolstoy’s society and time. The performance was held before the Anna Karenina ballet. The climax of the fashion week was a show held at the Municipal Concert Hall of Organ and Chamber Music.
The organizers had prepared a unique program, special scenery and peculiar collection – to the accompaniment of the virtuoso organist Mikhail Povaliy.
The events summoned both beginners and well-known fashion designers. The NRG Global Events Agency Director General Andrei Mitran, the founder and organizer of the festival, was quoted as saying that the show had become an excellent ground to demonstrate the potential of the young designers, visagistes, stylists and models.
“Despite all difficulties in the organization of such large-scale events, it has been a valuable experience,” Mr. Mitran said.
