The foreign delegation was comprised of agricultural attaches of the Austrian, Belgian, Czech, Danish, Norwegian, UK, Swedish and other Embassies.
This week, the foreign guests visited CLAAS's production plant in Krasnodar, the Kuban confectionary factory and Nestle Kuban factory in Timashevsk, and Abrau Durso Winery in Novorossiysk. Besides, they were shown the work of a dairy plant in the stanitsa (Cossack village) of Novotitarovskaya.
During his meeting with the delegation, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said that today's region's priority is to achieve same success in the production of vegetables and fruits.
"The demand for them is very high. We are selling Kuban-grown vegetables and fruits throughout Russia and abroad - to the CIS countries and the Czech Republic, Mongolia and China", said Mr. Kondratiev.
He also stressed that the region is interested in mutual projects on the construction of cattle-breeding farms and logistic centres.
He was quoted as saying that the regional authorities are prepared to offer the foreign investors "most privileged terms" - first of all, tax holidays and individual accompaniment of every project.
