Krasnodar, 21 August – Yug Times. It has been reported that construction of a stormwater drain age collector on Dezhnev Street in Krasnodar is nearing completion.
The contractor announced that the pipeline and domestic sew age system were fully installed, and 90% of the electrical network was laid. However, the project his falling behind schedule after previously undocumented underground utilities were discovered.
"The new school year is about to begin, and the number of vehicles and pedestrians in the city, including on this stretch of road, will increase significantly. The entrances to the industrial area and residential buildings therefore need to be fully restored as soon as possible. The weather is allowing us to work at an accelerated pace, so use all available resources to ensure people can get around comfortably. As planned, the project must be completed by the end of the year," Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Nau mov instructed.
The project is expected to alleviate flooding on Dezhnev Street, where water pumps currently have to be deployed regularly during heavy rainfall.
