Krasnodar, 25 September – Yug Times. Plans for the redevelopment of So chi’s Primorskaya Embankment were discussed at a recent meeting in City Hall. The investor has proposed using reclaimed land to create new recreational and public spaces.
“Priority attention must be given to engineering networks, transport accessibility and logistics, as well as to building modern infrastructure for the staff. All environmental aspects should be taken into account. Our strategy is based on balanced development across the whole city, where new attractions downtown will harmonise with the growing potential of other promising coastal areas, such as Laza revskoe. Its extensive shoreline is a unique asset, and we are ready to discuss with investors how to use it effectively for the benefit of residents and visitors,” stressed Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin.
The investor presented renovation options for the upper and lower sections of the Primorskaya Embankment. The plans include building escalators, new hospitality facilities, repairing the retaining walls, and landscaping the panoramic terraces with century-old pines and a health trail.
