Krasnodar, 3 September – Yug Times. Krasnodar has reportedly summarised five-year outcomes of implementation of a national project. Over the course of the “Demography” national project, Krasnodar has built and acquired 23 kindergartens with a total of 5,850 places. Total fund ing amounted to 5.3 billion roubles. These measures have significantly improved access to preschool institutions, which in turn helps boost birth rates and create comfortable conditions for educational activities.
As part of the “Education” project, 13 schools with nearly 16,000 places were opened in Krasnodar, a school in Starokorsunskaya was reconstructed, and 11 schools were equipped with modern facilities. Funding for this project totalled about 29 billion roubles.
Under the “Housing and Urban Environment" project, from 2020 to 2024 the city built five schools with 5,175 places and a kindergarten with 300 places, and upgraded three boulevards and five public gardens. Funding over four years amounted to 8.2 billion roubles.
As part of the “Safe and High-Quality Roads” project, more than 250 road sections with a combined length of 309 km were repaired between 2020 and 2024.
