Krasnodar, 29 May – Yug Times. Krasnodar city has announced a substantial boost to its 2025 municipal budget, with an increase of nearly 224 million roubles. This includes 64 million roubles allocated from the regional budget.
The expanded revenue will be used to finance public space improvement projects under the participatory budgeting model. Three public areas – winners of a regional competition for local initiatives – will receive funding, along with five additional sites selected through a municipal contest. A total of 87.6 million roubles has been earmarked for these upgrades.
Furthermore, the village of Beloziorny will see the construction of a high-tech sports complex. The city will allocate 7.7 million roubles for the project, in co-financing partnership with the federal government.
