Krasnodar, 6 March – Yug Times. The Sochi Mayor’s Office is in the process of determining the ownership of all hydraulic structures located within the city's offshore zone. This includes catchment and drainage structures, tunnels, booms, canals and pumping stations.

It is essential that these structures are maintained in accordance with the current technical standards to ensure their optimal functioning and safety.

“Ensuring their proper functioning is crucial for maintaining the sanitary and epidemiological safety of our residents, safeguarding the city's infrastructure, and fostering economic growth,” Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin wrote in his Telegram channel. The Mayor’s Office will get down to determination of the balance sheet attribution of each hydraulic structure. To date, only seven facilities have been accounted for in the municipal property. The remaining structures are either under the operational management of various organisations and federal and regional agencies, or are not accounted for.
