Krasnodar, 31 December – Yug Times. The regulatory policy in the Kuban region has been recognised as effective.

The assessment was performed by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. The region was included in the group of the best regions in the 2024 rating.

“In the first nine months of 2024, the region's economy attracted 107.9 billion roubles in investments, with a growth rate of 22.7 per cent. This was 2.6 times higher than in the national index. At the same time, the gross regional product reached 5.5 trillion roubles. The positive dynamics of these indicators was directly related to a comfortable business environment, which in turn depended on the quality of decisions made in the region. In 2021, the region restructured its regulatory process in accordance with the federal format," said Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel.

As an example, the vice-governor cited the approach to setting new mandatory requirements for businesses. It allows time for adaptation by establishing a transition period for the entry into force of regulatory acts. Regulatory policy is how the authorities set and change the rules for doing business.
