Krasnodar, 30 December – Yug Times. In 2024, more than 50,000 patients were provided hight-ech medical care in the Krasnodar region.

The development of the region's healthcare system was discussed at the final meeting chaired by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev. "The region's residents are increasingly benefiting from the provision of high-tech care thanks to the ongoing development of modern technologies and the increasing expertise of our medical professionals. Last year, 48,000 persons received such treatment, and this year, the figure has increased by more than 50,000. A growing number of regional institutions are being equipped with state-ofthe-art equipment, including 'heavy' machinery, enabling the execution of sophisticated procedures. This has been instrumental in saving patients and enabling them to resume their normal lives," said Veniamin Kondratiev.

Currently, high-tech medical care is available in 22 institutions across the Kuban region.

The region is also undergoing a primary care modernisation programme. In 2024, Krasnodar constructed a children's polyclinic with capacity for 300 visits, and another in the Kalininsky district. Additionally, construction is scheduled to be completed on six polyclinics, 11 general practitioner clinics, and 13 family doctor clinics.
