Krasnodar, 12 December – Yug Times. The Kuban children's health resorts have reportedly received a profit tax incentive.
The decision on the investment tax deduction was taken by regional deputies at a regular session. According to Sergei Garkusha, the regional Minister of Labour and Social Development, the measure is a continuation of the comprehensive approach to supporting children's recreation in the region. For example, the budget for the children's health campaign in Kuban is being increased every year, including funding for the purchase of vouchers; subsidies are being provided to municipal camps to co-finance measures to organise children's recreation and rest, the construction of fast-build modules and to create conditions for the recreation of physically challenged children. In addition, children's health resorts will receive subsidies for fast-built buildings, with a virtually zero rate of property tax.
Sergei Garkusha noted that the new measure will allow children's health resorts to receive an investment tax deduction when calculating their corporate income tax, which (the deduction) will amount to more than 70% of their expenses.
