Krasnodar, 11 December – Yug Times. Krasnodar has adopted a programme to develop the city's road network. 

The programme will run for ten years. It includes 27 junctions, flyovers and roads. Of these, design and costing documentation has been developed for 17 sites, with 10 sites still to be developed. 

The programme's activities will begin in 2025, and the first year's funding will amount to 3.8 billion roubles. A total of 151.3 billion roubles will be allocated for the implementation of the programme until 2035. The money will come from the regional budget. The funding was approved last week at the plenary session of the regional Legislative Assembly. 

As the mayor of Krasnodar, Yevgeni Naumov, noted, the reconstruction of the Turgenevsky Bridge, which connects Krasnodar and Adyghea, will begin in 2025. Reconstruction of Krasnykh Partizan and Yesenin streets, the Fadeyev Street flyover and the western entrance to the city will also begin. The city also plans to build a junction linking Tikhoretskaya and Volodarsky Streets. 

The programme for the comprehensive development of Krasnodar's road network was developed by the city's Department of Transport and Roads.
