Krasnodar, 4 December – Yug Times. Last week, Adyghea received a business delegation from Azerbaijan.
The visit took place within the framework of the business mission organised by the 'My Business' Entrepreneurship Support Centre.
The guests visited several enterprises for further co-operation. One of these enterprises was Fabmai confectionery factory, which started working in the times of the Soviet Union. Then this factory was one of the most successful in the USSR. Now the assortment and technologies have changed, but the products remain in high demand. Foreign manufacturers want to co-operate with the enterprise. The factory in Maikop produces about 200 kinds of sweeties. It has two production units, which produce chilled products - cakes, rolls, pastries, as well as storable products – sweets and biscuits. The foreign guests saw the production peculiarities and the whole process. Currently the factory supplies sweets to a number of southern Russian regions, and exports to Georgia, China and Belarus.
