Krasnodar, 3 December – Yug Times. Sixty winter beaches will be opened in the Krasnodar region's resorts in December.

Most of them will appear in Sochi – 33, sixteen in Gelendzhik, five in Anapa, and three each in the Temriuk district and Novorossiysk. The beaches are equipped with pavilions, benches and wooden decks.

In the future, the number of winter coastal walking locations can be increased up to 80.

The winter beaches have places for year-round catering outlets, pavilions, and sports and children's playgrounds. Workouts, yoga, dancing and Nordic walking sessions will be organised there.

The project to develop winter beaches in the Krasnodar region has been implemented since 2020. They are becoming points of attraction for tourists and the basis for new Kuban traditions. On Anapa's central beach, resort guests make sandmen in winter. This year, this art object, a favourite with holidaymakers, will also become a photo zone.

In Sochi, winter beaches are marked with flags with golden colour. During the New Year holidays, the average occupancy rate of the Black Sea resorts will be about 65%.
