Krasnodar, 3 September – Yug Times. The growth of the gross regional product for the seven months of this year was 3.2 per cent.
The positive dynamics was shown by agriculture, construction, wholesale trade and consumer market.
Wholesale trade continues to demonstrate high results – its growth for January – July was 16.7 per cent. A significant growth was noted in the construction industry – by 19.5%. The production of agricultural products increased by 4.9%.
"The revenues of the consolidated budget of [Krasnodar] Krai are growing. According to operational data, over the past eight months we managed to collect more than 358 billion roubles, which was 41.2 billion roubles more than in the same period last year," added Vice Governor Igor Galas.
Industrial production showed negative dynamics in January – July. The index in this area compared to January–July 2023 decreased to 98.3%, stated Krasnodar Statistics Agency. The biggest decrease was in the extraction of minerals. In January – July 2024 compared to the same period last year, it fell by 20.6%
The manufacturing industry decreased its output by 4.5%, including food production – by 1.9%.
