Krasnodar, 30 August – Yug Times. The Upper Primorskaya Embankment in Sochi has been upgraded. It is located between the resort city's two main concert venues: the Winter Theatre and the Festivalny Hall.
The comprehensive improvement was carried out in two stages.
Funding was allocated from the municipal budget. The works were carried out with the participation of investors.
As a result, a new pavement was laid on the area of over 16,000 square metres, 97 benches and 80 street lamps appeared on the embankment, and 127 rubbish bins were renewed.
The specialists reconstructed the entrance groups, the rotunda and staircases at the Primorskaya Hotel.
New photo zones have appeared on the site.
"The area of about 20,000 square metres was brought to a uniform style. One of the most favourite and historic places in the Central District became even more attractive and harmoniously complemented the unified city pedestrian route ‘Two Rivers – One Sea’,” said Andrei Proshunin, Mayor of Sochi.
