Krasnodar, 7 July – Yug Times. Students from the Republic of Adyghea will take part in the International Robot Battle.
The application submitted by the joint team of Adyghean State University (ASU) and Kuban State University (KubGU) has been pre-qualified for participation in the Robots Battle International Championship. Based on the number of points scored, the team became one of the top thirty out of the 170 Russian competitors.
“The legend of the robot currently created by our designers will be related to the history of the Caucasus. According to the authors of the idea, it will be a relative of the legendary Thor’s hammer. According to one version, the ore for that hammer was mined in the Caucasus Mountains. The robot’s name is Tlepsh. It is the name of a skilful Adyghe smith who creates victorious weapons in fire. The KubGU participants work on the physical shell of the robot, while the ASU team works on the software,” released the Adyghean State University’s press service.
