Krasnodar, 10 March. The IKEA store in the Mega-Adygea shopping mall has closed its doors. The retailer announced the suspension of its activity, thus gathering an unprecedented infl ux of customers. On the last day of work the queues at the cash desk were stretching for tens of meters. 

- IKEA Group has already taken action in accordance with our obligations to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and their families, and will continue to do so, - said the press service of the company. 

The suspension also concerns the work of IKEA Internet stores and studios. But the meeting spaces will work as usual. However, the press service clarifi ed that IKEA is stopping its production in Russia, as well as suspending all exports from Russia and imports to the country and Belarus. 

In addition to the Swedish retailer, the intention to close stores in Krasnodar has been announced also by the official Apple shops, Re:store. However, they ceased operations only for a day. In this case, after the unexpected resumption of sales, prices for the whole line increased by an average of 20%.
