Krasnodar has played host to the conference “Corporate social partnerships: investments in human capital”. The event tallying up the results and most important trends of the passing year was held in the framework of the program “Time for Social Investments” traditionally organized by the regional Civic Chamber, Southern regional Committee of the European Business Association (EBA), and The Yug Times weekly.
In his opening speech, chairman of EBA’s Southern regional Committee, Danone’s Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Regional Director Oleg Zharko stressed that the quality of people’s life, education and qualifications to a considerable extent determine the general pattern of what is going on in the society.
After the exchange of views, Mr. Zharko summed up the meeting and informed its participants that the project “Time for Social Investments” will resume its work next year.
The business discussion was followed by a ceremony of prize-giving. The regional Civic Chamber announced 11 socially important projects that became the winners of its award “Public Recognition”.
