Krasnodar, 22 September – Yug Times. A delegation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and Krasnodar’s partner city of Jinhua has arrived in Krasnodar on an official visit. The delegation was received at the City Hall, where the meeting was chaired by Krasnodar Mayor, Yevgeni Naumov. The talks focused on friendly ties between Krasnodar and Jinhua, as well as relations with China more broadly.
“We already have friendly ties with Harbin, Shijiazhuang and Dujiangyan, and we hope to establish sister-city relations with Jinhua in the near future. This will open up new opportunities for cooperation in education and culture,” Yevgeni Naumov noted.
Chang Xuhong, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Peo ple’s Republic of China in Russia, expressed hope that Krasnodar and Jinhua would develop not only business ties but genuinely warm and friendly relations. The Chinese delegation also visited Kuban State Agrarian University.
The aim was to strengthen academic ties between Russia and China, discuss joint educational programmes, and develop exchanges involving stu dents, teachers and researchers.
