Krasnodar, 17 September – Yug Times. More than 17 kilometres of roads have been repaired in Krasnodar Krai under the national Infrastructure for Life project.
The repaired sections are located in Kanevskoi and Ka lininsky Rayons.
“The main goal of the national project is to improve quality of life. That is why roads connecting communities and social facilities are given priority in road-repair programmes,” said Yevgeni Pergun, Deputy Governor of Krasnodar Krai. “By the end of the year, 16 road sections with a total length of more than 108 kilometres will have been repaired across the Kuban region. Krasnodar Krai has established a systematic approach to developing its road network, so all the objectives of the relevant national project will be met on time.”
In Kanevskoi Rayon, repairs have been completed on approximately 13 kilometres of the Kanevskaya – Berezanskaya road.
“Bringing the road up to the required standard improves traffic safety and helps reduce the number of accidents,” said Yuri Savenko, acting regional Minister for Transport and Roads. Work has also been completed on a section of the Ka lininskaya – Novonikolayevskaya road in Kalininsky Ray on. The section is approximately 4.4 kilometres long.
