Krasnodar, 11 September – Yug Times. Anapa has announced the results of an electronic auction for the purchase of new public transport. The next step will be to sign a contract with the successful bidder. Under the terms of the contract, the supplier will provide 25-seat low-floor mid-sized buses.
The resort city is implementing a major programme to modernise its public transport system, including the purchase of 101 buses for municipal routes. At the same time, work is under way on a new 12-route urban network designed to meet residents’ transport needs and connect residential neighbourhoods with the resort area and city centre. An interactive map of the proposed routes has already been published and is available for residents and tourists to view.
“The waiting time will be no more than 15 minutes on each route, with alternative and circular routes also available,” the City Hall’s press service said. “The changes are intended to make travel between different parts of the city more convenient, enabling people to reach their destinations more quickly in today’s fast-paced environment.”
