Krasnodar, 16 October – Yug Times. Since the beginning of the year, Adyghea police officers have registered 12 road accidents involving cyclists, in which one person died and 11 were injured.

 At the beginning of the last week, the duty police of Takhtamukai district received information about a road accident in one of the streets in Yablonovsky. 

Upon arriving at the scene, traffic police officers found that a 38-year-old local resident, driving a foreign-made car, when leaving a secondary road, violated the right of way and hit a 61-year-old cyclist. As a result of the accident, the cyclist was taken to hospital with numerous injuries. Another accident was documented by the police in Maikop at the end of the last week. It was established that a 23-year-old local resident, driving a Russian-made car, failed to keep safe distance and hit a 95-year-old pensioner, who was riding an electric bicycle in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident, the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but after some time he died in the intensive care unit.
