Krasnodar, 15 October – Yug Times. Aul Yegerukhai is reportedly resolving the issue of pedestrians' safety within the framework of initiative budgeting.

The projects from Yegherukhai village have been winning the initiative budgeting competitions for six years running. The park at the corner of Shovgenov and Sovetskaya Streets is one of the brightest examples of how a settlement can be transformed at the expense of state support and funds of residents. The new recreation area for local dwellers appeared almost from scratch, in 2022–2023, and recently it became even more accessible – now there is a pavement for pedestrians leading from the car park.

“The construction of the pavement took place in the shortest possible time – literally in two weeks all works were finished. The length of the pavement is more than 700 metres. The cost estimate is 2.7 million roubles: two million from the federal budget, 300,000 from the republican budget, 200,000 from local residents and 200,000 from the local government,” said Ruslan Braftov, Head of the Rural Administration.
