Krasnodar, 10 October – Yug Times. Five supplementary education institutions operating in the Kuban region have received new buses.
The vehicles were purchased by a sponsor from Novorossiysk. Oksana Grushko, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Krasnodar region, and Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director of the sponsor company, took part in the key handover ceremony.
"Today, modern buses are being provided to additional education institutions: Sports School No. 4 in the Dinskoi district, Children's Art Houses in the Abinsk and Korenovsk districts, the Young Naturalists' Station in the Kavkazsky district, and the Centre for the Development of Creativity for Children and Youth in the Krymsk district. The children will have the opportunity to go on excursions, creative and sporting events of municipal and regional levels," said Oksana Grushko.
The private enterprise has allocated over 37 million roubles for the implementation of the charitable project. Each of the given buses is designed for 26 passengers. The saloons are equipped with soft seats with seat belts and air conditioners.
Over the past five years, about 680 new vehicles have been purchased with the support of the federal and regional budgets.
