Krasnodar, 19 September – Yug Times. In summer 2024, 10.5 million tourists holidayed in the Krasnodar region. 

Another four and a half million guests came to Kuban for one-day excursions. The most sought-after resorts were Anapa, Sochi and Gelendzhik, followed by Tuapse, Yeisk and Temriuk districts, and Novorossiysk. 

“Almost 11,000 hotels and holiday centres of various categories work for the holidaymakers in the [Krasnodar] region. The ‘mellow’ season will soon begin. We expect several million people to choose autumn holidays at Kuban resorts,” said Governor Veniamin Kondratiev. 

In the summer of 2024, the Krasnodar region was visited by 7% more guests than in 2023, when 9.7 million people chose to spend their holidays in the region. The number of ‘one-day’ sightseers also increased – by 10% compared to the same period. In general, since the beginning of the year, the tourist flow amounted to 14.4 million holidaymakers. 

The highest concentration of the tourists last summer was in Anapa. The second place was taken by Sochi and Gelendzhik.
