Krasnodar, 14 August – Yug Times. Investment in Krasnodar's economy reportedly rose by more than 7.4% in the first quarter of 2026, with medium-sized and large businesses investing almost 48 billion roubles.

The leading sectors for investment included retail, transport and ware housing, hospitality and food services. Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev chaired a meeting to discuss the challenges investors face when implementing projects.

"Our city remains a magnet for investors, with almost every third rouble they invest in the region going to the regional capital," said Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Naumov. During the first half of 2026, the City Hall signed 15 memoranda of intent on cooperation in the investment sector. A total of 61 investment projects are currently receiving administrative support, with combined investment estimated at 412 billion roubles.

Two projects have already been completed: a plant producing metal structures, and a banking institution building on Krasnykh Partizan Street.
