Krasnodar, 9 July – Yug Times. The development of Sochi's social infrastructure and construction sector was the focus of an extended planning meeting chaired by Mayor Andrei Proshunin and attended by Viktor Filonov, Chairman of the City Assembly. 

A number of social facilities have been completed or are nearing completion in 2025–2026. These include a 300-place kindergarten in Severnaya Bytkha neighbourhood, a 200-pupil primary school in Golubye Dali and the completed refurbishment of Zor in Gymnasium No. 6. 

Four more facilities have been commissioned in 2026: a 175-place nursery school on Lenin Street, a 1,100-pupil school in Lazarevsky District, another 1,100-pupil school on Yasnogorskaya Street, and a 400-pupil school in Khosta District. A new school on Malyshev Street is being prepared to open on 1 September. 

More than 40 social infrastructure projects are scheduled for completion in Sochi by 2030, including schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, and sports facilities. Some of the developments are being delivered with private investment.
