Krasnodar, 20 May – Yug Times. A delegation from the Krasnodar region has taken part in the Russian Chinese EXPO in the Chinese city of Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
The landmark 10th edition of the exhibition opened on 17 May and will run until 21 May. The central event of the programme was the Sixth Rus sian–Chinese Forum on Interregional Cooperation, where participants discussed prospects for deepening partnerships between Russian and Chinese regions, as well as specific projects in industry, innovation and trade.
“This year marks the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation between China and Russia. Krasnodar Krai has long maintained close sister-city ties with Chinese partners,” said Deputy Governor Aleksandr Ruppel, who headed the region’s delegation.
The EXPO programme includes the exhibition, business and cultural events. Displays from Russian and Chinese companies, Russian regions and Chinese provinces are being showcased at the venue. Participants presented advanced achievements in mechanical engineering, digital tech nologies, energy and the agro-indus trial sector, alongside examples of traditional folk arts and crafts
