Krasnodar, 21 April – Yug Times. Repairs to utility infrastructure are continuing in the Central District of Novorossiysk.
According to the city’s mayor, Andrei Kravchenko, Suvorovskaya Street had for years been a recurring trouble spot, requiring frequent intervention by emergency repair teams due to leaks in the heating network. Repeated excavations and patchwork road repairs became a constant cycle. Residents faced daily disruption caused by the ageing pipeline system and ongoing roadworks. Just during the past year, the Municipal Control Centre received more than 200 complaints regarding the issue. In a decisive effort to resolve the problem, specialists from the thermal energy company carried out extensive works on the dangerous section of the heating network, replacing 2.5 kilometres of pipeline.
Workers have now moved on to preparatory stage of resurfacing and landscaping the area, after which road markings will be re applied.
