Krasnodar, 7 April – Yug Times. The Republic of Adygea has taken part in an international economic forum held in neighbouring Abkhazia, with the delegation led by regional leader, Murat Kumpilov.

The two republics are already partners across economic, social, and socio-political spheres.

During the forum, Kumpilov put forward several proposals aimed at expanding economic cooperation. In particular, Adygea is ready to share best practices in agriculture, including workforce training for the agro-industrial sector, the creation of specialised agricultural classes, and the implementation of the “Agrostartup” programme — one of the most sought-after initiatives supporting small-scale farming.

Another key project highlighted was the planned agro-biotechnology park, “The Vavilov Cluster.” In addition, Adygea is prepared to offer a large industrial zone with preferential operating conditions as a platform for further cooperation. Kumpilov also emphasised the strong potential for collaboration in tourism, proposing that the two republics combine their experience and resources to make both destinations more attractive to visitors.
