Krasnodar, 18 March – Yug Times.In Novorossiysk, reconstruction is under way on the most failure-prone section of the Troitsky group water supply system.
Work is being carried out along Magistralnaya Street to replace the 700-mm diameter pipeline. The project has been complicated by a high groundwater level, and water is currently being pumped out of the work area.
Given the site’s conditions, the project uses materials designed to withstand aggressive environmental factors, including soils with high groundwater levels. The reconstruction involves steel pipes with internal and external polymer anti-corrosion insulation. Construction crews and specialised machinery are working on the site, including excavators, drilling rigs and pumping equipment. The current works include digging the trench, welding and pipe installation.
