Krasnodar, 13 March – Yug Times. Repair works have resumed on an important section of the Mamaika Pass highway in Sochi.

Specialists of the federal road service have restarted work on a key stretch of the Dzhubga–Sochi motorway. Under a state contract running until 2027, road surface repairs will be carried out on four sections of the federal highway between the Ira River and the Mamaika interchange.

According to the press service of the Sochi City Hall, 11 bus stop shelters will also be replaced to improve comfort for both residents and visitors. Barriers, pavements and kerb stones that are in poor condition will be restored.

Active work is also continuing to replace worn surface layers on the highway in the Khosta district. If weather permits, the repairs are expected to be completed by the end of March.
