Krasnodar, 16 December – Yug Times. Construction of a new school for 1,100 pupils in Greater Sochi’s Khosta District is nearing completion.

The progress of the project and its compliance with the planned schedule were inspected last week during a working visit by So chi Mayor Andrei Proshunin, who personally assessed the pace and quality of the works.

Roof installation, the fitting of fire safety systems and external lighting, the laying of internal and external utility networks, and façade works are currently being completed on site.

More than 210 specialists are involved in the project on a daily basis.

“The workforce on site has recently been doubled, and additional equipment has been brought in. This is a critically important educational facility that will ease the load on other schools in the Byt kha neighbourhood. It is essential that pupils begin classes in the new building from 1 September next year.

The contractor’s management has confirmed its commitment to complete all construction and installation works and commission the facility by the end of this year. We are keeping this project under special supervision,” Proshunin said.
