Krasnodar, 5 December – Yug Times. More than 2,400 homes in Greater Sochi have reportedly been connected to natural gas pipelines under the targeted social programme. The progress of the programme was discussed at a working meeting between Sochi Mayor, Andrei Proshunin, and CEO of Gazprom Gas Distribu tion Krasnodar and Gazprom Mezhre giongaz Krasnodar, Gennadi Naraev.
“Under the Presidential social program of natural gas supply, more than 6,200 contracts have been signed with [Greater] Sochi residents. Blue fuel has reached the homes of 2,435 of our citizens. In September, a unified customer service centre opened in the city centre, which has significantly simplified the process of obtaining the necessary documents,” said Andrei Proshunin. In 2025, village gas pipelines were commissioned in Golovinka and Yakornaya Shchel. Construction and installation work is nearing completion on the first and second phases of the gas pipeline in Lo’o, and gas specialists will soon begin work on the third phase.
Design and survey work is planned for inter-settlement and intra-settlement gas pipelines in Greater Sochi, including in remote mountain villages such as Vorontsovka, Illarionovka, Kalinovoe Ozero, Aibga, Tretia Rota and Tikhonovka.
