Krasnodar, 21 November – Yug Times. The second phase of improvements to Mezdakh Park in Maykop is due to be completed by the end of the year.
Currently, 85% of the work has been finished. The second phase focuses on landscaping around eight hectares of parkland, emphasising recreational areas, pedestrian paths, and cycling routes. A total of 158.5 million roubles have been allocated for these works.
Previously, Mezdakh Park hosted open-air concerts. The planned upgrades aim to create an urban forest zone harmonising with the natural environment and highlighting the identity of Adygea.
Ethnic elements will be incorporated, including 10 bas-reliefs to be installed by year-end, reflecting the republic’s rich history and traditions of hospitality. Each artwork will serve as a “window into the culture” for residents and tourists, symbolising values of interethnic harmony and friendship.
