Krasnodar, 20 November – Yug Times. In October, Kuban residents received 15.7% fewer credit cards compared with the same month in 2024.
This time, only 62,900 cards were issued, down from 74,900 in October 2024, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories.
Compared with September, however, the number of newly issued credit cards in October 2025 increased slightly, which was a nationwide trend. “In 2025, the issuance of new credit cards has stabilised at a rather low level (1.0–1.3 million per month),” said NBCH Marketing Director Aleksei Volkov. “This stabilisation followed the drop in issuance in the second half of 2024. At that time, monthly issuance fell by more than half — from 2.2–2.3 million (mid-2024) to the early-2025 minimum of 1.0–1.1 million.”
