Krasnodar, 20 November – Yug Times. Work continues in Anapa to renew damaged sections of the road network.

The works are being carried out under a road-restoration programme for surfaces damaged during the response to the emergency caused last year by the oil-product spill in the Kerch Strait.

Repairs have begun on Terskaya Street, on the section from Krasnodarskaya Street to Krasnoarmeiskaya Street. The works include replacement of kerbstones and restoration of pavements. The programme will also update several streets in the city: Zheleznodorozhnaya, Severnaya, Krasnodarskaya, and Grebenskaya, with Pionersky Avenue and Smolianka Street also partially affected.

The programme covers road surfaces and pavements. In addition, mobility for people with limited movement will be improved and a barrier-free accessible environment created.

Once completed, the total length of restored roads will exceed 33 kilometres. Road works have already been carried out on several streets in Anapa and in the village of Vityazevo
