Krasnodar, 18 November – Yug Times. New automatic traffic-violation recording systems are being installed on Sochi’s roads.
Each system includes a camera, a processing module, and the required software.
The devices automatically generate photographic and video evidence and transmit information on detected violations to the Centre for Automated Recording of Administrative Offences.
A total of 38 sections of Greater Sochi’s road network are planned to be equipped with these systems, for example, at the intersections of Gorki Street with Moskovskaya, Severnaya, and Roz Streets.
The systems will record speeding, driving through red lights at junctions, stopping or parking in restricted areas, violations of seatbelt and mobile-phone usage rules, and other traffic offences.
