Krasnodar, 13 November – Yug Times. In October, 44,300 self-imposed bans on credits were set up in the region’s banks for Kuban residents. Most of these – 34,700 bans – were initiated by citizens through Gosuslugi public services portal, with the remaining 9,600 handled by MFC governmental service centres.
Compared with September, the monthly number of such self-bans increased by 28.8%. At the same time, Kuban residents are not yet making active use of the option to refuse loans via MFCs: in October the figure rose by only 1,000, from 8,600 to 9,600. In other regions, the number of such requests lodged through MFCs soared by 50–70%.
“Expanding ways to establish self-bans on credits via multifunctional centres enhances the protection of citizens against potential fraud,” said Aleksei Volkov, Marketing Director of the National Bureau of Credit Histories.
