Krasnodar, 11 November – Yug Times. More than 7,700 cases of unauthorised street trading have reportedly been stopped in the Kuban region since the beginning of this year.
Over the first three quarters of 2025, more than 10,500 field inspections were carried out in Krasnodar Krai to identify instances of unlicensed trading.
“Fighting unauthorised trading is not merely a matter of control and sanctions. The key task is to create favourable conditions for legal business. Moreover, such an approach ensures consumer safety thanks to compliance with established standards and contributes to a more orderly urban environment,” said Roman Kurinny, Acting Head of the Regional Department of Consumer Affairs.
Municipal administrations drew up 7,700 violation reports. Most of these concerned citizens who had committed an offence for the first time. The highest numbers of reports were issued in major cities – Sochi, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Anapa, – and the Temriuk district.
“For unauthorised street trading, legislation provides for administrative liability,” the press service of the Krasnodar Regional Department of Consumer Affairs and Alcohol Market Regulation reported. “The size of fines varies depending on the offender’s status. Citizens may have to pay up to 5,000 roubles, and officials up to 20,000.”
